How do I order a cake?

            All cake and cookie orders can be made on our website! Select the size and flavor of cake you want, and the site will prompt you to select a date and time for pickup upon checkout. The site will USUALLY let you place order up until 11am TWO DAYS before.

**PLEASE NOTE** We frequently cut off ordering if volume is too high, so earlier is better! For dates far in the future, wait for your date to fall within the 60 day window, then book on the site. We do NOT take orders further than two months out.

Why don't you offer cupcakes?

         Baking at altitude is tricky business, and our deliciously light and fluffy cake recipes simply don't work in a cupcake form.

What do you offer in-store?

            We offer a selection of whole cakes, cakes by the slice, cake scraps, deliciously giant cookies, key lime pie and more at our Guadalupe Street shop Thursdays-Saturdays.

I want a cake for a date you’re not open! What do I do?

            Our cakes stay fresh and delicious for at least 5 days. Cakes made with buttercream also freeze beautifully. Of COURSE we prefer you enjoy our cakes as fresh as possible but if you’re in a pinch, just know there is a wide window of time you can enjoy them!

Do you make wedding cakes?

            No and yes! We do NOT offer tiered cakes, or custom cake designs. However, we often make single tiered cakes, simply frosted, for customers to arrange fresh flowers on and serve as their showpiece cake (or a cake-scape of several different cake sizes and flavors on one table). Another option is to source your showpiece cake from another bakery, and purchase our cakes to offer supplemental servings to be served to your guests. **PLEASE REMEMBER: Cakes with cream-based frostings may NOT be left out of refrigeration for longer than 20 minutes without beginning to melt. Please consider choosing buttercream cakes for showpiece cakes that might last longer out of refrigeration!**

Do you make vegan and gluten-free cakes?

            No—our cakes are made with old fashioned ingredients like butter, flour and sugar!

Can you make custom cake designs and flavors?

            No—Due to the TINY size of our shop, cakes designs are limited to what you can find on the website. We often recommend finding cake toppers and additions to fit your theme at the dollar store, hobby store or Amazon!

Why don't you write on cakes?

        Many of our cakes are made with cream-based frostings that don't hold icing color, so inscriptions will bleed out onto the cake. Other cakes are textured and impossible to write on! We do offer cake toppers and candles for purchase in-store.

Do you offer delivery?

      No, we currently do not offer delivery.
